Morocco – The inhabitants of the Moroccan village of Bounou watch helplessly as the Sahara creeps closer every day. The encroaching sand threatens to swallow everything; their homes, fields, date palms, and even centuries-old stories are in danger of disappearing. The cause? Climate change. Twelve-year-old Chourouk: “I pray for a future in my village.”
